CardFight!! Vanguard Article:
Attack Sequence
By: Card Gamers - Volume 2
In the game of CardFight!! Vanguard the attacking sequence plays a critical role for winning or losing a fight, should I attack with my VG first or my RG???
R --> V --> R
This is one of the most basic attacking pattern, this attack pattern allows player to first target opponent's Grade 2 Rear Guard to stop them from intercepting, decrease your opponent hand size by guarding, allows unit(s) with special skill after attacking to help your Vanguard's attack (Masked Police Grander, Super Dimensional Robo, Dai Lady, etc) and by having one Rear Guard left you are able to give the triggers to that unit if your Vanguard were to be guarded.
V --> R --> R
Mainly used by decks with no stand trigger, this formation allows the user to add the triggers to the Rear Guards if the VG's attack were to be guarded.
R --> R --> V
Mainly used by decks with lots of stand trigger, this pattern allows the fighter to create multiple attacks in a single turn, it will be a plus point if your Vanguard have the skill to help standing your Rear Guard (Asura Kaiser, Enigman Rain, etc) or to Superior Call (General Seifried, etc) and help to create a 4th attack.
