- 40 minutes per round
- When time is up and the game is not finished, the game in progress ends as a loss for both players. Then the winner is decided based on the number of wins for the game.
Deck Regulations/ Requirements:
- Fighters are required to use opaque card sleeves so that the back of cards cannot be easily distinguished. A maximum of 2 layers of sleeves is allowed.
- Only English Edition cards may be used.
- Players must use the same Buddy and Flag throughout the whole tournament. Players cannot change the Buddy or Flag between games.
- Players can have 0-10 cards for their sideboard.
- The 4 per deck rule applies to the main deck and sideboard as a whole. (i.e. You may only have up to 4 of a certain card between your deck and sideboard. Like normal games, your Buddy does not count towards the 4 per deck.)
- Between games 1-2 and 2-3 of each round, players may use cards from their sideboard to change their deck.
- After sideboarding, the deck needs to be in a legal state and the sideboard can be no more than 10 cards.
- Players must return deck to pre-sideboard state before each new round.

- Champion will receive a Champion Certificate and an invitation to the respective Continental Championship. Travel and accommodation expenses will be provided 2, except to players from the United Kingdom, USA-Los Angeles, Portugal and Singapore qualifiers. Portugal and UK invitees will be provided with travel expenses but NOT accommodation. Minors will need confirmation from a parent or guardian to earn the invitation to travel.
- 1st Runner-Up will receive a 2nd Place Certificate and an invitation to the respective Continental Championship.

Future Card Buddyfight Free Fight
Eligibility: Anyone may participate
Tournament Structure: Free Fight is a format to play simply for fun without competition. Participants can go in and out freely during the Free Fight time. Fighters will be randomly matched against a new opponent after each match.
Deck Regulations/ Requirements: Only English Edition cards may be used.
Participation Prize: ll fighters participating in 2 or more matches will receive one random pack of English version 「PR Pack Vol. 1」.
