With Effective from 25th September 2014, the following rules will be implemented in the game.

"場のモンスターのサイズ合計が3より大きいなら、3以下になるまで、最後に場に置かれたモンスター以外のモンスターをドロップゾーンに置きます。"

"When the total size of all monsters on your field are over 3, except for the last monster that entered the field, put monsters to your drop zone until the size of the monsters become 3 or less."

Because of this ruling, this will be how the flow of calling Thunder Knights, Dragoarcher when Thunder Knights, Bastard-sword Dragon will resolve:

- Follow steps until "The opponent may use a card with [Counter] once." step. Resolve the ability if used.
- Resolution check ⇒ Field is oversized and since Thunder Knights, Dragoarcher is the last monster to be called, put Thunder Knights, Bastard-sword Dragon to the drop zone.
- Resolve the ability of Thunder Knights, Dragoarcher. The requirement check of the ability will conduct only now, and since there are no "Thunder Knights" on the field, you do not get to draw a card.

World Championship 2014

It’s the time of the year for the English-centric Bushiroad World Championship series and it’s going to be much bigger in 2014! This year, the World Championship series will also include all available English Edition titles: Cardfight!! Vanguard, Weiss Schwarz and Future Card Buddyfight!

Regional Qualifier -> Continental Championship -> World Championship

The World Championship 2014 features 9 Regional Qualifier locations in North America, 2 in Latin America, 4 in Europe and 5 in Asia-Oceania regions.

Regional Qualifier finalists will qualify and represent their region to participate in the respective Continental Championships.

The finalists from the Continental Championships will be invited to participate in the Cardfight!! Vanguard World Championship 2014 Finals in Tokyo, Japan in late December 2014.
