Cardfight!! Vanguard (Japanese):
Fighters Rule
(As of 3rd June 2016)

On 17th May 2016, it was announced for the Japanese version of Cardfight!! Vanguard that the following restriction on cards will take place.
**As the situation is different for the Japanese and English versions, there are currently no plans to implement the following restriction for the English version of Cardfight!! Vanguard at all!**

(i) Pending Restriction/Limited List for Japanese Cardfight!! Vanguard

Royal Paladin:

- Holy Dragon, Sanctuary Guard Regalie

Aqua Force:

- Tidal Assault

Dimension Police:

- Commander Laurel

Angel Feather:

- Nurse of Broken Heart

Gear Chronicle:

- Tick Tock Worker

Note 1: This includes all cards of the SAME name with different rarities (Such as card reprints as SP or PR or another expansion).

Note 2: The above mentioned cards are targeted for review for the next Fighter's Rule update. The Team will have to check if the above mentioned cards will still be overpowered even with the release of the next set.

(ii) Limited List for Japanese Cardfight!! Vanguard

As of 3rd June 2016 you are restricted to a max total of 1, using any combination of cards, in the deck.

Angel Feather:

- Doctoroid Refros

Neo Nectar:

- Cosmos Pixy, Lizbeth

Correct Examples:
1x Doctoroid Refros
Note: Total of 1 types in a deck, it'll be fine.

Not Correct Examples:
2x Doctoroid Refros
OR
3x Doctoroid Refros

OR

4x Doctoroid Refros

As of 22nd January 2016 you are restricted to a max total of 2, using any combination of cards, in the deck.

Aqua Force:

- Flash Ripple, Odysseus

Nova Grappler:

- Cat Butler

Note: This includes all cards of the SAME name with different rarities (Such as card reprints as SP or PR or another expansion).

(iii) Clan Fight Format Deck Construction Restriction List for Japanese Cardfight!! Vanguard

- Official Tournament's Time Limit for each round will increase from 20 minutes to 25 minutes.

(iv) Clan Fight Format Deck Construction Restriction List for Japanese Cardfight!! Vanguard

- Fighters’ decks (including G-Units) must only contain cards from the same clan, with the exception of:

• Cray Elemental cards.

• Royal Paladin decks may consist of up to 4 copies of “Blaster Dark”.

• Link Joker: decks may consist of cards with “Яeverse” in its name.

• Royal Paladin: Decks that includes grade 3 cards without “Jewel Knight” in their card name cannot includes “Jewel Knight, Swordmy” cards.

Part 1:
- The following cards CANNOT be used as a first vanguard (FV), but can however be used normally otherwise (It can still be placed in the Deck).

Royal Paladin:

- Barcgal

Kagero:

- Lizard Soldier, Conroe

Note: This includes all cards of the SAME name with different rarities (Such as card reprints as SP or PR or another expansion).

- The following cards can only be used until 21st September 2012. After that, the following card CANNOT be placed in the deck.

- Epitome of Knowledge, Silvest

- Not a tournament legal card

Takugal
- Not a tournament legal card

Vanguard Fighter, Daigo

- Not a tournament legal card

Note by Bushiroad:
Reason for Adjustment in the Japanese Version:-
'With regards to the over usage of the above mentioned cards and an imbalance in tournament results, the adjustments will be made to refresh the game environment for the fighters.'

Bushiroad's Statement:
