CardFight!! Vanguard:
Tournament & Ruling Updates

Following CardFight!! Vanguard's Ruling which was updated recently which CMD had been using in our Tournaments for awhile too and here is the update:

(i) Tournament Rules

1. Results of battle when the time ends:
1) The party with the most damage at the end time loses the game.
2) If both players have the same amount of damage the match will continue till there's a change in the amount of damages in either player's damage zone, damage check will be done at the end of the turn where there's a change in damage and the player with more damage loses.

2. Disqualify
1) Players can be disqualified from talking to people outside of game, giving suggestions to other players or taking suggestions are not allowed.

(ii) Vanguard Ruling

1. Triggers
1) Power and critical triggers added from trigger phase will last till the end of turn.
2)When a trigger was checked you must first add the power before resolve the trigger's effect
e.g. Player A triggered a draw trigger he must add in the 5000 to a unit before he draw a card.

2. Bind zone
Bind zone is a invisible zone where players put their cards that are binded (in either face up or face down according to the skills) and cards placed in the zone DO NOT affect the game. Cards in the bind zone can not be used to guard, pay as cost or even used for any skills.

3. Continuous Skills
Any situation that affect the requirements in Continuous skills are to be resolved first. example: Unit A with the skill to increase the Power when the player has 4 or more cards in hand was attacked by Unit B, Player A called a unit to the guardian zone during the attack and his hand was decreased to 3, as he has lesser than 4 cards in hand his unit A have its POWER decreased even though he has a higher power before the player called the unit into the guardian zone.

4. Soul Charge and Soul Blast
This is updated and changed as of the latest Guidebook from the KAD5 recently.

Soul Charge:
- You can Soul Charge in any order below the Vanguard. So is no longer you must Soul Charge directly below the Vanguard.

Soul Blast
- You can choose what card within your Soul to Soul Blast. So is no longer you must Soul Blast from the most bottom of the cards below the Vanguard upward and you need not rearrange your Soul during the Main Phase.
