Cardfight!! Vanguard:
Generation Break (GB)

(I) What is the new Generation Break (GB)
- Once a Generation-unit (G-unit) appears on the field, it exerts an effect on other units. Even when it returns to the Generation-Zone (G-Zone), its effect remains.
- Those who receive the favour of the G-units are the units with the new ability Generation Break (GB).
- In order to active GB, the total number of face-up G-units in your [V] and G-Zone needs to be equal or more than the number written on the right side of the GB icon.
- In other words, the number of G-units you have used will fulfil the conditions for activation.

(II) Using an actual card as an example:

Shining Knight, Millius (閃きの騎士 ミーリウス)
United Sanctuary/Human/Royal Paladin
Normal/0/Boost/5000/10000/1
Auto: Forerunner {When a unit of the same clan rides this unit, you may call this unit to [R].}
Activate [R] [Generation Break (1)] {This ability is active if you have one or more G-units face up in your G-zone or [V]}: [Counter Blast (1) & Put this unit into your soul] Search your deck for up to one grade 2 card, call it to [R], and shuffle your deck.

- As this unit has [Generation Break (1)], the condition for [Generation Break (1)] will be satisfied the turn that you Stride a G-unit onwards.
- When the condition is satisfied, you can [Counter Blast (1)] and put this unit into your soul, to call a grade 2 card from your deck as a rear-guard.
- There will be other units with GB included in the Trial Deck, Awakening of the Interdimensional Dragon (G-TD01) and Divine Swirdsman of the Shiny Star (G-TD02), that goes on sales on 21st November 2014 (Japanese Edition) / 27th February 2015 (English Edition), and in the G-Booster pack, Generation Stride (G-BT01), that goes on sales on 5th December 2014 (Japanese Edition) / March 2015 (English Edition).

(III) GB's Q&A:
Q1: Can I fulfill the condition for [Generation Break (2)] when I have 1 face-up G-unit on my [V] , and 1 in my G-zone?
A1: Yes, you can. As there are 2 face-up G-units, the conditions is satisfied.

Q2: If after satisfying the conditions for GB, the number of face-up cards in my G-zone is reduced, making the conditions of GB become unsatisfied, what happens?
A2: You cannot activate GB. When you activate GB, the total number of face-up  G-units in your [V] and G-zone must be equal or more than the specified number.

Q3: Do the units chosen for the G-assists count towards the number of face-up G-units?
