Floor Rules Updates
The following rules updates are for those who will be participating in tournaments. For those not following the following Floor Rules Updates might get you a Set Lost, or even a Disqualification!
(It will be depending on the Organizer of the event, as well as the Tournament Level)
(A) Decks / Cards
(I) Ride Deck
- All fighters must have cards with Grade 0, 1, 2 and 3 in the Ride Deck (4 cards in total).
- For monster strike, the fighters must have cards with Grade 0, 1, 2, 3 and GachaGidra in the Ride Deck (5 cards in total).
- Card Sleeve that are used for the Ride deck must be a different set of sleeve from your main deck.
- Fighters are not allowed to make any changes to their Ride deck in between matches during tournament.
(II) G zone (For Premium Format)
- Fighters may prepare cards of 0 to 16 cards for thei their G zone.
- Cards in the G zone are not part of the 50 cards in their main deck.
- Fighters are not allowed to make any changes to their G zone in between matches during tournament.
(III) Markers / Tokens / etc
- For markers, tokens etc, fighters must use official cards Proxy, fan-made cards are not allowed.
(B) Sleeves
(I) Main Deck
- Fighters must use mini card sleeves (Vanguard size); Regular/Standard card sleeve size are not allowed.
- Fighters may only sleeve up to a total of 3 layers.
- Opaque card sleeves must be used.
- Fighrers may use clear sleeves above their opaque sleeves. However, having an opaque card sleeve over an opaque sleeve is not allowed.
- Outer sleeves with patterns/designs/etc are not allowed.
- Using of card loader/etc for cards in your Main Deck is not allowed.
(II) Non-Main Deck
- Cards in the G zone must be sleeved.
- The card sleeves must have different design from your main deck.
- Fighters may use clear card sleeves for their G zone.
- Standard or Over-sized card sleeves are allowed for G zone cards.
- Using of card loader for G zone is allowed.
- For markers/tokens, fighters may choose not to sleeve them.
(C) Playmat
- Fighters may use their own playmat. However, they can only use official Vanguard playmat.
- Do ask your opponent for permission beforehand.
- Any non-official playmats (e.g. Own print, or non-officials, etc) are strictly not allowed.
(D) Others
- When using cards such as the official Bermuda Triangle’s Mermaid language (see attached), do make sure to have a PDF or another copy for your opponent to refer to.
- Fighters are not allowed to mix in cards of a different languages in their deck. (Unless they are the official, such as the Bermuda Triangle’s Mermaid language). Hence, do not mix English language with Japanese language cards or Japanese language with Korean language cards.
